During the past 20 years I have had the great pleasure to cooperate with Mr. James D. Worth on a host of projects, ranging from the arts to the highly competitive arena of creating world-class branded logos. His award winning work, whether in film and video production, logos, or as a director of repertory theatre, stands head-and-shoulders above the mediocrity that has become the norm in today’s society.
Mr. Worth is “old school.” His is a value system based upon excellence, where sweating the details is expected and nothing less than the best is acceptable. The fact that he has excelled in a variety of disciplines is testament not only to his intellectual curiosity (another “lost art”), but also to his intense work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Mr. Worth is both a team player and a leader. He understands in today’s global business that the difference between cutting-edge and bleeding-edge solutions can be a fine line – one, profitable, the other, not. He keeps the big picture in perspective, but sees the fine details. Educated, literate, creative, loyal, urbane – brilliant, all with a sense of humor.
I recommend James D. Worth with enthusiasm and without any reservations.

As Director of the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI), Singapore National Eye Centre, it is with pleasure that I write this letter of testimonial to James Worth expertise as a communicator in Digital Media. I have personally worked with James in the past few months on a SERI project.
James was the producer, director, scriptwriter and editor on a professional video produced at short notice for at major international conference, the Asia Pacific Ocular Imaging Symposium, held in Singapore. Concurrently, the video was to showcase the capability of our team and launch the opening of a new facility, the Singapore Advanced Imaging Laboratory for Ocular Research (SAILOR) in the presence of professional, academic and industry partners.
The video was a resounding “hit”. The success of the video depended greatly on his clear grasp of both the theory, clinical and technical aspects behind my research - ocular imaging as a clinical tool for identifying patients with diseases, and may be used for risk stratification and monitoring disease progression). James was able to understand the elements of a range of different diseases such as glaucoma, cataract, diabetes, retinopathy, and stroke, heart disease, and hypertension. His appreciation of research, relevance to the profession, and the client was critical to ensure that the success of the video. It was extremely well received at the Symposium and will continue to be used as a promotional video for SERI and SAILOR. Impressively, the video was shot over a period of 3 week (including editing) in both SERI Clinical and research settings.
James has proven himself to be an extremely astute, efficient and effective interviewer, providing concise and incisive sound bites for the commentary/narration, from both visiting professors, clinical and technical personnel. James was also informative, decisive when needed and the experience of working with him was enjoyable.
I recommend him highly for professional communication involving digital media and video.
Yours sincerely,Professor Tien Yin Wong

You are open to exploring broad and innovative alternatives, energized by change and thinking “out of the box” when others around prefer the tried and tested. You are exceptionally open to new intellectual ideas and possibilites, ever ready to learn and understand new things and to birthing new concepts. You are open to reevaluating traditional values and beliefs and would serve as an excellent promoter for culture change.

Mr. James Worth worked as a producer for me over a period of months on a series of films we did for the American Association for the Advancement of Science on the subject of scientific integrity.
The films were shoot over a period of weeks at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Mr. Worth proved himself to be extremely efficient and highly imaginative in solving a myriad of problems that arose in shooting these videos in a dramatic format. Mr. Worth was also very even tempered in every crisis and a delightful person to work with.
I recommend him highly for film or video production.

I have know James over the past five years, and most closely worked with him when I was the Health Communications Director at the Medical College of Georgia from July 2000 to December 2003. James was Chief or Video and Interactive Media Production, an area that I oversaw administratively. I also worked with him on several projects, as I am a medical illustrator professionally,
James Worth is an extremely talented and hard working individual. His creativity and versatility made him a pleasure to direct and/or collaborate with on Media projects. He was also very pleasant to work with and responsive to demands placed by short deadline projects. I trust him implicitly as an individual and consider him a good friend and professional colleague.
Since I direct a graduate program in medical illustration, I have used James’s talents and experience to assist in the instruction of our students. I would not hesitate to utilize his time and talents for further instruction with our graduate students. I believe James has the natural ability, background, and personality to be an excellent teacher. Our students who interacted with him found it to be a positive educational experience.
James has the ability to be successful in whatever challenge he may be given.

Since coming to the Medical College of Georgia in 1991 as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Medical Illustration. I have had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Worth on a professional level, as well as get to know him on a collegial level. He is remarkably learned and experienced, and his practical nature and wry sense of humor make him a pleasure to work with.
I serve as the Course Director for our Learning Resources and Business Management class. Because James Worth posses a wealth of practical knowledge and experience about interactive, multimedia, video design, direction and production, it was given that I would ask him to become involved in the class. He was enthusiastic and passionate lecturer on the practicalities of media design and production.
In addition, he played the important role of interviewer for our series of mock interviews designed to prepare the students for the post-graduation job search. In the interviews, he displayed a talent for inquisitive interaction with the students and an ability to elicit their best responses under pressure. Learning how to talk about one’s own skills and abilities objectively and practically in the milieu of a position negotiation is very difficult. Mr. Worth’s experience, knowledge and personality proved to be great assets as he provided the students with valid and valuable constructive criticism of their presentation and communication skills. On evaluations, the students have commented that they enjoyed working with him and appreciated his honest appraisal or their abilities and his suggestions on improvement. Mr. Worth’s participation in this class was invaluable, and it will be very difficult to find a replacement with his skill set and level of dedication.
Even though he may not have a formal Master’s degree, Mr. Worth’s exceptional talents, advanced training, and years of professional experience are more than equivalent. I can attest to his ability to simultaneously grasp the big picture, attend to the important details and fulfill the client’s needs. I believe that these qualities in combinations with an unflappable temperament and affable personality, equip without reservation I recommend James Worth, and encourage you to see how his talents and experience may benefit your organization

It is a pleasure to write a letter of testimonial for James Worth. Mr. Worth and I worked as colleagues at the Medical College of Georgia when I was Director of Enrollment Services. Since my retirement from MCG, Mr. Worth and I have continued to work together as colleagues in Augusta’s arts community.
At the Medical College, Mr. Worth was my resource for producing videos to assist in the recruitment of students to the college’s undergraduate, graduate and professional degree programs. His expertise in concept development, scriptwriting, videotaping and editing were critical to our having an excellent product. I appreciated the work we did together at MCG and feel sure that the videos were a substantially instrumental part of our successful admission and recruitment program.
During the past three years, Mr. Worth has been extremely helpful to the Art Factory, providing performing space at the Augusta Theatre Company to our non-profit community arts program. We have appreciated very much Mr. Worth’s collegiality and willingness to help our students. Mr. Worth also is to be commended for his efforts to expand the theatre opportunities available to performers and audience members in Augusta.
